The Shawnee Mountain Bike Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping trails in the Shawnee National Forest open to mountain bikes. Founded in 1993, the SMBA has grown steadily in numbers over the years and has worked hand-in-hand with the U.S. Forest Service to secure a place for the growing community of mountain bikers in the Shawnee National Forest area. The SMBA is the only organization working directly to secure a place for mountain bikes in the Shawnee. The Shawnee Mountain Bike Association is working to keep trails open in the Shawnee National Forest, and you can too. The annual membership dues, at only $10 per year, are a bargain. Sign up today, and have a friend sign up as well. Support your sport. More members equal more power to influence mountain biking issues in the Shawnee National Forest.
